The Grants scheme is now closed.
The Society operates a small Grants Scheme, through which individuals can obtain funds (up to £1,000 per year, maximum award of £2,500 over 3 years) to undertake specific projects that are clearly in accordance with the aims of the Society. The Society is not proscriptive as to the nature of the project; it will consider projects of any type where the underlying aim is to advance the study, diffusion or acquisition of knowledge or skills by individuals or communities.
The Society has joined with the Trades House in awarding prizes in The Glasgow Modern Apprentice Awards. The Society supports two new awards: ‘Community Engagement’ and ‘Overcoming Difficulties’.
